to use my music?
Yes, specific Song Submit campaigns provide you with legal representation
by a Hollywood Entertainment Law Firm when a Record Label wants to sign
your music. |
11) How many beats/songs can I submit to a single
campaign?
As long as your music is relevant in style to a given campaign, there
is no limit to the number of songs you can submit. To maximize the likelihood
at connecting, signing, and receiving placement for your music, multi-song
submissions per campaign is recommended. However, please submit only
your very best music.

exposure to the music industry. |
12) What is the best number of beats/songs to submit
to a campaign?
Submitting 5 songs versus 1 obviously increases your exposure and
thus, the likelihood your music will be selected & forwarded. The
optimal number of songs to submit per campaign is subjective, and depends
on how confident you are in the quality of your music. As long as your
music is relevant in style to a given campaign, there is no limit to
the number of songs you can submit. To maximize the likelihood of receiving
placement, multi-song submissions per campaign is recommended. However,
please submit only your very best music.

account, the more your music will be directly considered by

13) Can I submit the same music to multiple Song
Submit campaigns?
Yes. To maximize exposure of your music and increase the likelihood
at connecting, signing, and receiving placement, same-music multi-campaign
participation is recommended. We encourage musicians to submit the same
music to all Song Submit campaigns that are relevant and applicable
in style. Your exposure is increased when submitting relevant music
to multiple campaigns versus only 1 or 2 campaigns. Submitting your
music to multiple campaigns ensures your selected music is reviewed
multiple times by multiple clients, not just by one client once per
campaign.
The premise is if your music is relevant to a specific Song
Submit campaign, then upload to that campaign. The more music
you have selected within your Song Submit account, the more
your music will be directly considered by Song Submit music
executives at present and in the future.
|
14) Is it necessary to submit the same music to
multiple campaigns?
To maximize your music's exposure, same-music multi-campaign participation
is recommended. While not necessary, submitting the same music across
multiple campaigns greatly increases the likelihood of that music getting
signed and placed. Having your music reviewed multiple times over by
multiple clients will only enhance your chances at connecting, signing,
and receiving placement.
The premise is if your music is relevant to a specific Song
Submit campaign, then upload to that campaign. The more music
you have selected within your Song Submit account, the more
your music will be directly considered by Song Submit music
executives at present and in the future. |
15) What's the difference between being selected & receiving
placement?
When your song is selected, it has been selected to be forwarded.
Being selected doesn't guarantee placement. Receiving placement is when
your song has been licensed or signed & will appear on an album
or broadcast. Probabilities of receiving placement are determined by
Label A&R & Music Executives once your music has been forwarded.
Regardless of placement, connecting with executives is key as this lays
the foundation for building long-term music business relationships. |
16) Is connecting w/ Music Execs as valuable as having my
song placed?
Yes, the music industry is all about networking and building relationships.
Song Submit enables music producers to connect with Record Label A&R,
Film/TV Music Supervisors, and Music Executives regardless if your song
ends up in placement. Building name recognition with music executives
is essential for one's music career. Song Submit gets music producers's
names and music into the hands of major industry players to help build
crucial recognition & connections. |
17) What is Song Submit's Refund Policy?
Song Submit has a no refund policy. Once you have purchased an upload,
no refunds will be granted. You are purchasing a service to have your
music reviewed for possible selection and forwarding. Violation of Song
Submit's refund policy will result in a permanent ban from all Song
Submit campaigns. No exceptions allowed. |
